Hi Aura began in a season that stretched me — one I won’t lay out here, except to say I learned firsthand that knowing what helps and being able to reach for it are two very different things.
By then, I’d spent years quietly gathering the tools that steadied me — reflection, grounding, reframing, gratitude, and the small practice of noticing a win before it slipped past. Those tools had carried me through more than one chapter of my life.
But motherhood taught me the harder truth. Knowing what helps is the easy part. The hard part is reaching for it in the middle of real life — when the day is full, when you’re carrying a lot, when you’re doing okay but still need a moment to find your way back to yourself.
That gap became Hi Aura.
I didn’t want to build another app that made mothers feel like they had one more thing to manage. I wanted a calm, private space — a small ritual a mother could actually use in ninety seconds, not a system she had to maintain. Somewhere to pause, name what she’s carrying, notice what she did well, breathe, and step back into her life a little steadier than she left it.
Hi Aura isn’t about perfect motherhood. It’s a reminder that she is still becoming, still capable, and still worthy of care — not only when she’s struggling, but when she’s growing.
Because mothers deserve support in every season, not just the hard ones.
