Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 14, 2026

Plain-language summary: Hi Aura is designed as a supportive maternal wellness platform. We aim to collect only what we need, protect it carefully, avoid selling personal information, and give you choices about your data. Because Hi Aura may include emotionally personal reflections, please use the app thoughtfully and avoid sharing emergency, highly sensitive, or clinical information unless you are comfortable doing so.

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Hi Aura LLC (“Hi Aura,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit our website, join a waitlist or beta, use our app or digital services, interact with Luna or other support tools, participate in surveys or community features, purchase offerings, or communicate with us.

3. Sensitive Wellness Information

Hi Aura may involve emotionally personal content. Some information you voluntarily share may feel sensitive, including reflections about stress, overwhelm, motherhood, mood, identity, relationships, or family life. Hi Aura is not intended to collect medical records, diagnose conditions, provide medical treatment, or replace professional care. Unless separately stated, Hi Aura is not a healthcare provider, health plan, or HIPAA-covered entity.

Please do not submit emergency information, medical records, diagnoses, therapy notes, precise location, or information about immediate danger into Hi Aura unless a feature specifically asks for it and you are comfortable sharing it. We may use information to:

5. AI-Supported Features

Hi Aura may offer AI-supported features, including Luna, designed to provide supportive conversation, prompts, reflection, journaling assistance, and emotional encouragement. AI outputs may be imperfect, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. They should not be treated as professional medical, mental health, legal, financial, safety, or emergency advice.

We may process messages and related context to generate responses, maintain limited conversation continuity, improve safety and reliability, troubleshoot issues, and protect against misuse. Where third-party AI providers help power these tools, information may be processed by those providers under their applicable terms, safeguards, and contractual commitments. We do not sell personal Luna conversations or personal journal entries.

6. Cookies, Pixels, Analytics, and Advertising

We may use cookies, pixels, software development kits, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate the site/app, remember preferences, measure performance, understand traffic, improve user experience, and evaluate marketing campaigns. This may include tools from hosting providers, email marketing platforms, analytics providers, app stores, social platforms, advertising platforms, and security tools. You can manage many cookie settings through your browser, device, and platform settings. See our Cookie Notice for more information.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal conversations or personal journal entries. We may share information with:

8. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide services, operate the business, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, support beta learning, and fulfill legitimate business purposes. Some account, transaction, security, or compliance records may be retained after deletion requests where legally necessary.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You should protect your password, use secure devices, and avoid sharing highly sensitive information through unsecured channels.

10. Children’s Privacy

Hi Aura is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take appropriate steps to delete it. Some features may require users to be 18 or older under our Terms.

11. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information. You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. To make a request, email hello@hiaura.co. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

12. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others — may have additional rights, which may include the right to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, limit the use of sensitive personal information, and opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, or certain profiling.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share personal Luna conversations or personal journal entries for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise a right, email hello@hiaura.co; we may need to verify your identity, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we decline a request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

13. Breach Notification and Health App Considerations

If applicable law requires notice of a data incident involving covered information, we will provide notices as legally required. Digital wellness and health-related apps may be subject to privacy and breach notification requirements depending on their features and data practices.
